Hello.
You might know it already but i want to let you know about two new games from kitchensinc website. http://www.kitchensinc.net/
There is a battleship game since March and a new version of the golf game since may which is not self voicing this time but a sapi5 game. Also there is a version6 of monopoly with some improovments.
And don't forget all games on this website are free and accessible.
Enjoy.

I haven't tried the battleship game that he's made yet.

I do like the new version of the Golf game though. I particularly like the fact that you can now make your own courses. I think it would be absolutely fantastic though if he could ever devote enough time to his games to make them multy player online games. That would be really cool with Golf.

cool i'll have to check it out, have some of the old one so looking forward to checking it out.

I have a couple of his games, including the new battleship game. Hey, I have a question. How do you get rid of a game if you don't want it anymore? I emailed Jim, and he told me that there's a way you can dleete the file of a game if you dont' want it anymore, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone help?

I can't help with the last question, but I want to say thanks for this URL. I lost my bookmark for it, and have been looking for a while. Thanks.

Hi.
The problem with kitchensinc games is that he puts all of his game in one folder. If you want to delete one of the games there is a file called unin with the first letters of the game. For example for casino the file is called UNINCASI, for monopoly uninmono etc. You click on the file and deletes the files for the particular game.
Another easier way is to put each game in its own folder with a shortcut on the desctop for each game and that's what i personaly do so if i want to delete a game i just delete the folder but if you do it this way the game menu won't work you will have to start the games manualy with windows explorer or my computer or by creating shortcuts.
I hope it makes sence what i said and it's useful. For any more questions let me know.
Nikos

Yeah, that makes sense--what you said, not the way he does it.

Post 11 by Musical Ambition (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Thursday, 15-Jun-2006 11:33:51

Nikos, that's exactly what Jim told me, but where is the unin files at? I have never seen them before, and i can't find them anywhere.

Post 12 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Thursday, 15-Jun-2006 12:20:26

I'm not Nikos, but they are in the c:program fileskitchensink folder just go in there with ms explorer or my computer and type a u and I think you'll find them.

Hmmmm, well, thanks Bob, but I've looked in the folder, and there's nothing there. Strange.

guys, the kitchensinc.net site only has hsi old games, the old golf version, am i doing something wrong?

Post 15 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Friday, 16-Jun-2006 14:45:48

Go to where it says "click here for free windows self voicing games" and you should find the newest golf game etc.

Has anyone tried to make a hangman file? I looked at the ones that came with the game, and they seemed to be encrypted. Am I doing something wrong? I really don't want to create a whole new file, I'd like to add to the one he has.
Thanks,
Bob

The new golf is not in the self voicing games, It's in the sapi5 games category. It's almost at the end of the page.

Hmmm, well, I still can't figure out how to delete a game that you don't want. I absolutely can not find the unin files.

Post 18 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Monday, 19-Jun-2006 11:16:40

Okay, from your desk top go too, "My Computer", Then go into your C drive. It might be labled as "Local disc C" or it could be called something different, either way it will feature the letter C somewhere. Go into there and arrow down to "Program files" or just press P, which ever you prefer, and enter on that. At this point, if you haven't been there before, you might get a window popping up that says that the files are hidden. If this is the case you need to route Jaws to PC and left click on the show me these files icon. From there you will find the kitchensinc folder. In there you will find the files you need to delete. Just pressing U will take you down to them.

Hope that helps.

Which game are you trying to get rid of? (Never end a sentence with a preposition).

Post 21 by Musical Ambition (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Tuesday, 20-Jun-2006 13:35:35

Well, I got the trivia game, and the different files that go with it, but I dont' want them anymore.

Post 22 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Tuesday, 20-Jun-2006 14:32:09

Okay, try this, this is what my unintriv.bat file says:

Post 23 by Musical Ambition (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Wednesday, 21-Jun-2006 11:40:17

Where in the world did you see that? LOL, I have never seen anything like that anywhere in these game files.

Post 24 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Wednesday, 21-Jun-2006 17:33:30

It's the "uninstriv.bat" file in the c:program fileskitchensink directory. It came when I loaded the trivia game.

Post 25 by Batman413 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Thursday, 22-Jun-2006 4:34:24

Hello,
If you go into the local disk drive, which is usually your C drive, you'll get a list of folders. Choose Program files, and go into the Kitchen'sink folder. Keep hitting U, until you come to the file with the TriV extention on the end of it. Press enter on it, and that's how you get rid of the trivia game.
Hope this helps,
Ryan

Okay, thanks all. I'm gonna try and see if this works.

Post 27 by Musical Ambition (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Wednesday, 28-Jun-2006 10:26:51

Okay, just wanted to thank everyone for their help. I finally figured out how to delete a game I dont' want anymore. Thanks again to everyone who gave me suggestions on what to do. Now, i have another question for those of you who play, or have played, the Kintchens inc. football game. Can any of you give me tips on what to do to play better offensively? I do great on defense, but I can't seem to do crap with my offense! lol

Post 28 by Batman413 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Wednesday, 28-Jun-2006 15:41:26

This is really a trial and error game... Try lots of running. Passing doesn't work too well, short passes are good for a good 7/8 yards, but watch the long passes. Don't do them too offten.
Run for the goal line when you're close to a touch down... Actually, run that way most of the time. When you use end run, you'll get tackled a lot, and lose lots of yards. Use Goal line, and short passes. Drop an occasional long pass in there, too.
Hope this helps,
Ryan
